Eklavya Pathshala is educational unit of a non-profit organization namely Natural Resources & Infrastructural Development Society ( a registered charity under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 and Income Tax Act,1961).It is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh,India. This educational wing was started in September’2008. |
| The educational unit, Eklavya Pathshala, runs two centers for providing free supplementary education to the socially& economically deprived children of the society. It has a vision to ensure that poor children living in slums also get an opportunity to improve their educational skills and grow into a responsible citizen of the society. |

| The parents living in slums expect even small children to earn something for the family expenses, hence they are not very keen to send them to the school. These socially & economically deprived children of poor parents are provided with FREE supplementary education (TUITION) on a regular basis after school timings on all days by us. Here they are helped in their homework, if any, and provided basic teaching for improvement. Our efforts are directed to increase their educational level and competence, so that they can easily adjust in proper schools. This enables them in getting formal education and certificates. We also try to inculcate good moral values and behavior by example during the interaction with our students. |
| They are also provided with carrier guidance for vocational training, after completion of school level education. |
